Leo Thomas Travers, age 79, Inglis, died October 11, 2015 at Brentwood Health Care Center. Leo was born on June 29, 1936 in Chicago, IL to the late Willard and Alta (Wynn) Travers.
He served our country in the United States Military. Leo was a long-distance trucker, who was a member of the Owner/Operator Independent Drivers Association of America (OOIDA). He subcontracted to Mayflower and J.B. Hunt Trucking with service to both companies of over 50 years. He also was a supporter of the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranch and Florida Sheriff’s Association.
He is survived by a cousin, James Witte.
