Clyde A Bennett

Clyde A. Bennett, 87, Inverness passed away Oct 4, 2015 under the care of his family and the Hospice Unit in the Citrus Health & Rehab Center. Clyde was born Sept 21, 1928 in Rutland, VT to the late Carson and Isabelle Bennett and moved to this area from Lebanon, CT in 2005. He was an ironworker and a 63 year member of Local 15 in Hartford, CT. He also served our country in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Eva (Galvin) Bennett; 9 children, Richard L. Bennett and his wife, Jan of Inverness; Carson C. Bennett, Inverness; James J. Bennett and his wife, Brenda of Lebanon, CT; Fred and Timothy Bennett, both of Queensbury, NY; Claudia Girouard, Greenfield, MA; Tracy Donofrio and husband John of Colchester, CT; Linda Smith and Pat Teborda, both of Queensbury, NY; 1 sister, Beatrice Rucanski, Altamonte, NY; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Bennett and his sister, Irene Bishop.
