Sandy R. Horn, 54, Inverness, died September 25, 2015 under the loving care of her family and the staff of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast. Sandy was born on January 23, 1961 in Perth Amboy, NJ to the late William and Adele (Holiwinski) Grover.
In May of 1999, she married Russell Horn III, with whom she shared 16 years of marriage. Sandy moved to the Inverness area from New Jersey with her husband 16 years ago. A Catholic by faith, she was a member of St. Scholastica Catholic Church, Lecanto. In her spare time, Sandy greatly enjoyed swimming, arts and crafts, going to amusement parks and taking cruises.
In addition to her husband Russell, left to mourn Sandy’s passing is her brother William and his wife Kathy of Beverly Hills; two nieces, Stacia T. Grover and Colleen S. Grover-Horn; and one great-niece. She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Louise Grover.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Scholastica Catholic Church, Lecanto with Father Jose Tejada as Celebrant. A reception for family and friends will be held following the mass.
