JEAN ROSE WALLACE, age 80, Inverness, died August 24, 2015 at the Hospice of Citrus and Nature Coast House in Lecanto. Jean was born on May 29, 1934 in New York City to the late John and Lillian Riley. One of 14 siblings, she was born on a coal barge and lived on the barge with her family until she was old enough to attend school. She was a homemaker and also a member of Order of Eastern Star. Jean was an avid bingo player. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Michael and wife Terrie Emrich of Floral City; her daughter Amy Meyer, Chester, NY; 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, along with extended family and good friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 15 years, Jerry Wayne Wallace on August 7, 2015. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private arrangements.
