Marjorie F Jobe

MARJORIE F. JOBE, age 82, Inverness, died September 12, 2015. Margie was born on March 3, 1933 in Durham, NC to the late Walter and Lillie (Strickland) Ford. She was preceded in death by her husband Werner H. Jobe, brothers James “Buddy” Ford, Glen Ford and Walter Ford. Margie was a clerk typist with the Civil Service for 25 years. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post #4337, was Past President and served in many other capacities throughout the years. Left to treasure her memory are her sons Richard Jobe and John Jobe (wife-Valorie), all of Inverness; her brother Henry Ford of Garner, NC and sister Eunice Griffin, Lecanto; four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A Service of Remembrance for Margie will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory with Pastor Darrell Reneau officiating. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. The family will greet friends in visitation from 4-6 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
