Olive I Davis

OLIVE IRENE DAVIS, age 87, died August 9, 2015 surrounded by her family and under the care of Arbor Trail Rehab and Hospice of Citrus and Nature Coast staff. Olive was born on March 23, 1928 in Lincoln, RI to the late Joseph and Annie (Fife) Hurst. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She enjoyed playing bingo and going out shopping. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 67 years, Marshall Davis; two sons Marshall Davis, Jr. and Kenneth Davis; his daughter Gayle Bobola of Lecanto; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law Bob Bobola. A celebration and tribute to Olive’s life will be held on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Fr. Erwin Belgica officiating.
