James W Herringshaw

JAMES WILLIAM HERRINGSHAW, age 86, Lecanto, died August 4, 2015 under the care of Hospice of Citrus and Nature Coast. James was born on February 23, 1929 in Cleveland, OH to the late Lowell G. and Hattie (Strietzel) Herringshaw. He served our country in the United States Army. James was employed by the City of Inverness as a building official for many years. A very giving and caring man, he volunteered many hours helping with housing assistance for the elderly. Left to cherish his memory is his son, James Herringshaw; his daughter Paula Friebertshauser, both of Chardon, OH; step-sons Bob Petti and Domenic Petti and step-daughter Donna Brooks; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Rosemarie and a son Daniel. Private arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home.
