RAYMOND WILBUR WHITE, age 69, Homosassa, died August 3, 2015 under the care of his loving family and the staff of Hospice of Citrus and Nature Coast. Raymond was born on November 6, 1945 in Cleveland, OH to the late Wilbur and Bertha (Davis) White. He served our country in the United States Navy. Raymond owned and operated his own fencing company and also worked for others in the fencing business. He was an avid fisherman, very athletic and enjoyed all types of sports. A loving and generous man, he will be missed by all who knew him. Left to treasure his memory is his daughter, Ginger Lynn White (Ricky Clements), Lakeland, stepdaughter, Sendy (Tim) McKelvey, Tampa; his companion of seven years, Lynn Atanasoff; sisters Clarentine (Jim) Ogden, Odum, GA, Carol (Ralph) Lynn, Spartenburg, SC, Claudette (Gregg) Kelsey, Land O’ Lakes and grandchildren Artie, Jr., Justin, Jessica and Richard. He was preceded in death by his brother Ronald W. White. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Raymond’s memory to Hospice of Citrus County, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34461. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private arrangements. A celebration of life and memorial service will be announced at a later date.
