Roland K Davies

ROLAND KENYON DAVIES, age 84, Beverly Hills, died August 2, 2015 under the loving care of his family and the staff of the Hospice of Citrus and Nature Coast. Roland was born on December 4, 1930 in Manhattan, New York to the late Edward and Mabel (Vanderay) Davies. He proudly served our country in the United States Coast Guard, retiring after 36 years of service and was employed by Florida Power and Light as a customer service representative for over 34 years. Left to treasure his memories is his wife of 29 years, Diana Davies; his son David Snowden and wife, Dara Jo of West Palm Beach; daughters Pamela Erickson and her husband Mike of West Palm Beach; Kari Jandran and her husband David, Hernando,FL; and Kimberly Farnes, Palm Beach Gardens; his Mother-in -Law, Marilyn Bonner, Inverness; nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Roland Davies, Jr. and William “Billy” Davies. A Graveside committal service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, August 5th , 2015, at 11:30 AM from Florida National Cemetery. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home is assisting the family.
