Patricia J Sears

Patricia J. Sears, age 81 of Summerfield, FL, passed away at her residence on July 17, 2015. Patricia was born on May 4, 1934 in Terre Haute, IN to the late Herschel and Isabella (Vaughn) Aug. She moved to Florida from Somerset, IN 20 years ago. Patricia was employed as an accountant for ARC (The Association of Retarded Children) for a number of years. Patricia was formerly the treasurer of Woodlawn United Methodist Church, the social director for Singing Forest , a 4-H leader,  Sunday School teacher and a member of PTO.  In her spare time she enjoyed playing cards and reading. Patricia also loved to travel. and saw much of the world in her retirement years. She is preceded in death by 2 sons, James and Dale Sears, grandson Tony Sears and first husband, Herman Leroy Sears. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jason Forsberg; her children Herschel (Jacqueline) Sears of Warsaw, IN, John (Sherri) Sears of Winter Haven, FL and Jeanne (Brian) Tennyson of Fernandina Beach, FL. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Private cremation arrangements through Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL. Donations to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in lieu of flowers.
