Herman Gregory

Herman Gregory, age 79, Inverness, died July 8, 2015 at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Herman was born on November 10, 1935 in Laurel County, KY to the late Joseph and Doris (Jones) Gregory. He was employed by Monsanto Chemical Company for over 30 years. He was an accomplished bricklayer, stone mason and Masonic brother of North Bend Lodge #346, throughout his years at Monsanto and after his retirement. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 26 years, June Gregory; his children Daniel Gregory, Donna Gregory (preceded in death), Tina Barrett, Cincinnati, OH, Cynthia (David) Knippenberg, Lawrenceburg, IN, Susan (Terry) Tucker, Batavia, OH and Shawn (Christina) Gregory, Cincinnati, OH; stepchildren Sharon (James) Buchanan, Cincinnati, OH, Steven (Michelle) Snyder, Cincinnati, OH, Donna (Timothy) Huckaby, Aurora, IN and Edwina (Edward) Watson, Hebron, KY; his brothers Kenneth (Karen) Gregory, Cincinnati, OH and Glenn (April) Carroll, Dayton, OH; his sisters Shirley Witt (preceded in death), Carol (Manuel) Couch, North Vernon, IN and Jean (Rusty) Sellmeyer. He had 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. A celebration and tribute to Herman’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory. A second ceremony will be held in Cincinnati, OH to celebrate Herman’s life at a date to be announced by the Gregory Family. The Gregory family respectfully requests all family and friends to donate in Herman’s name to either contribute to the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation in lieu of sending flowers.
