Matthew D Martin

Matthew D. Martin, age 38, passed away June 3, 2015. Matt was born on May 7, 1977 in Annapolis, MD to Billy and Beverly (Williams) Martin. He served our country in the United States Marine Corps. Matt was employed as a framer in the construction industry. A very loving and giving person, he enjoyed helping people and was loyal and faithful to his friends and family. He was a very devoted Father to his children. Matt’s passion was sky diving; he enjoyed the sport immensely. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Rachel Diez Martin; his father, Billy (Kathy) Martin, Coinjock, NC and mother Beverly (Jorge) Bryan, Lakeland, FL; his children Raylan Martin, Lake Panasoffkee, Josilyn Martin, Powells Point, NC and Hailey Martin, Lake Panasoffkee; stepson Connor Diez, Parrish, FL; his siblings Billy Martin, II, Lakeland, FL, Justin Martin and Shawn Martin, both of Coinjock, NC, Samantha (Anthony) Pieske, Lakeland, FL, Leah Martin and stepsister Genevieve McDevitt, both of Coinjock, NC. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and those who were privileged to meet him. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private arrangements.
