Larry L Tomlin

LARRY LEE TOMLIN, age 75, Inverness, died May 21, 2015 at HPH Hospice House in Lecanto. Larry was born on January 20, 1940 in Muscatine, IA to the late Omer and Arvilla (Frye) Tomlin. Larry was a supervisor for John Deere Plow-Planter division for over 27 years. He enjoyed cat fishing, was an avid NASCAR fan, rooting for his favorite driver, Tony Stuart and enjoyed playing cards with his family. He was an excellent cook and even canned many of his own foods. Left to cherish his memory is his special friend of 7 years, Carol Brown, daughters Vickie E. Tomlin, Muscatine, IA and Kelly J. Vale, Bettendorf, IA; brothers Duane Tomlin (wife-Helen) of Inverness and Dean Tomlin (wife-Judy), Monticello, IN; his sister Lila Keller, Illinois City, IL, four grandchildren Jason, Hope, Richard and Kailyn; great-grandchildren Drake, Jaxson and Landon. He was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Tomlin. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private arrangements.
