James M Scheidell

James M. Scheidell, 74, Homosassa, FL passed away May 7, 2015 under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Lecanto, FL. She was born on July 11, 1940 in Washington, D.C. to the late James T. and Mabel (Bogie) Scheidell. James was a plumber and pipe fitter and arrived in this area in 1999, coming from St. Petersburg, FL. He attended St. Benedict Catholic Church in Homosassa, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. His memberships included Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge #2013, Crystal River, FL, the Eagles, Homosassa, the Elks # 4272 of West Citrus, Sons of the American Legion, and Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union #123. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Martha A. Scheidell. Other survivors include children Michael J. Scheidell of Louisiana, Dennis T. (Jessica) Scheidell of St. Petersburg, Becky Ann Scheidell of Homosassa, and Amy (Larry) Johnson of Homosassa; and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Frances J. Kelley. Services for James will be held at a later date. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL is assisting the family with arrangements.
