Linda Caroline Johnson, 74, St. Petersburg, FL died May 6, 2015 under the care of Hospice in their South Pinellas Care Center. Linda was born in St. Petersburg, FL on Feb 28, 1941 to the late Maurice S. and Caroline (Burdick) Johnson. She grew up in Inverness and graduated from Citrus High School. Following graduation, she returned to St. Petersburg and was employed by the Pinellas County Highway Patrol for 15 years as a secretary-dispatcher. She then became a legal secretary and spent 30 years at the the Powell, Carney, and Maller Law Offices before her retirement.
She is survived by her brother, Maurice Johnson of Hernando, FL.; 2 nieces, Lori Hall and Sheri Robertson; 3 great nieces, Emily Thompson, Jessica Hall, and Nicole Robertson, 1 great nephew, Robert Robertson; 1 great great niece and 4 great great nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Linda’s life on Saturday, May 16, 2015, 10:00 AM at the Chas E Davis Funeral Home, 3075 So. Florida Av., Inverness, Fl. The family will receive friends at the time of service. Following services, there will be a reception at Hilton Hall, Floral City United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Hospice of your choice.
