William N Cherry

William Ned Cherry, age 84, Floral City, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 4, 2015 at Citrus Memorial Hospital. William was born on May 23, 1930 in Lincolnton, NC to the late John H. and Elsie (Mullis) Cherry. He was employed as a subcontractor in the aluminum business. William enjoyed participating and competing in the Senior Bicycle Races. His loved the Lord and praised him as an evangelist. Left to cherish his memory is his son Mike Cherry, Sr.; daughters Rebecca Cherry and Teresa C. Heton; 12 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosie Lee (Bradshaw) Cherry and two grandchildren. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with local arrangements. Further services and viewing will be under the care of Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Charlotte, NC.
