EDITH “LYNN” GENOVESE, age 69, Floral City, died April 8, 2015 at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. Lynn was born on November 2, 1945 in Queens, NY to the late Alfred and Helen (Quinn) Rothwell. She was a rehabilitation counselor working in a state hospital in New York. She enjoyed gardening and working with her computer. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Moose. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 38 years, Allan Genovese; sons Allan Genovese, East Yaphank, NY, Mark Genovese, Medford, NY, her daughter Lisa (Phil) Paul, Patchogue, NY; her brother Michael Rothwell, Daytona Beach, FL; sisters Regina Graziano, East Islip, NY and Helen (Bob) Noto, NJ; six grandchildren and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her daughter Tina Genovese and a sister, Carol Lawrence. A celebration of Lynn’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory with Fr. Tim Cummings officiating. The family will greet friends in visitation from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.
