William G Knowles

William George Knowles, Sr., age 77, Inverness, died March 29, 2015 at Citrus Memorial Hospital with his family at his side. William was born on August 18, 1937 in Hallendale, FL to the late John C. and Ester G. (Black) Knowles. He served our country in the National Guard. William was employed by Penske Truck Leasing Company for over 40 years as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed his retirement and socializing at the Inverness Golf and Country Club. Left to cherish his memory is his son William G. Knowles, Jr. and his wife, Tina, Tallahassee, FL; his daughter Carol Osborne and her husband Chris, Inverness; his brother John C. Knowles, Wiersdale, FL; four grandchildren, Melissa, Frankie, Billy and Christina; great-grandchildren Mia and Dante. He was preceded in death by a brother Jack Knowles and sisters Bobbie and Carolyn. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private arrangements.
