Ruby O Thayer

Ruby O. Thayer, 88, of Floral City, Florida passed away March 27, 2015 at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Inverness, Florida. She was born on January 18, 1927 in Bakersfield, Vermont to the late Kenneth A. and Grace L. (Wood) Aiken. Ruby was a waitress in the hospitality industry, and arrived in this area in 2013, coming from Lakeland, FL. She was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and enjoyed painting. Survivors include her children David (Allison) Thayer of Floral City, Ronald (Francine) Thayer of Zephyrhills, FL, Marlene Gilfillan of Derby, VT, and Nancy Lovely of Lyndonville, VT; 11 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great-grandchildren.
