Michael J Kennedy

Michael J. Kennedy, age 47, died March 4, 2015 under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Citrus County. Michael was born on December 11, 1967 in Newport, RI to Leo F. and Katherine “Kitty” (Tustin) Kennedy. He was the manager of Liberty Tax Service in Inverness and also the Crystal River office, a job he enjoyed very much. He also enjoyed reading, especially Louis L’Amour novels, was an avid NASCAR and Philadelphia Eagles fan. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 14 years, Brenda Kennedy; stepchildren Justin Springer, Kody Fredrikson, Kyle Fredrikson, Korey Fredrikson, Dillon Fredrikson and Katie Fredrikson; four grandchildren; his mother Kitty Kennedy, sister Kathleen Kennedy, all of Inverness and his brother Sean Kennedy, Floral City. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo F. Kennedy and a brother, Thomas Lee Kennedy. A Memorial Mass will be offered at a later date. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
