JAMES D. SKAGGS, age 60, Inverness, died February 26, 2015 under the care of his family and Hospice of Citrus County. James was born on December 28, 1954 in Savannah, GA to the late William and Pansy Mae (Edwards) Skaggs. He served our country in the United States Army. James was employed as a commercial truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and being on the ocean. James loved music and played the guitar. A loving husband and father, he liked giving warm hugs. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 18 years, Ashlie Skaggs; sons Tyler and Trevor Skaggs, all of Inverness; his in-laws William and Helen Lynch, Dunnellon; his brother Robert Skaggs, Albany, GA and two granddaughters. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
