EILEEN MARY AMBURG, age 75, Inverness, went home to be with her Lord on February 24, 2015 under the loving care of her family. Eileen was born on October 15, 1939 in Medford, MA. She studied at the University of Massachusetts at Boston and Lesley University, receiving dual Master’s Degrees in education and psychology. Eileen was a teacher and a guidance counselor in the New Hampshire and Massachusetts school systems for over 42 years. She enjoyed reading and belonging to book clubs. She was also a member of the Citrus Hills Women’s Club and a parishioner at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, where she was active in many ministries and as a eucharistic minister. She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother and will be missed by all of those whose lives she touched. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 52 years, Robert Amburg; her sons Robert J. Amburg and his wife Susan, Plymouth, NH, Michael J. Amburg and his wife Lesley, Manchester, NH and James P. Amburg and companion Valerie, Dover, NH; her brothers Charles E. Cannon and his wife Brenda, Bridgewater, MA, Arthur R. Cannon and his wife Carol, Woburn, MA; seven grandchildren, Shawn, Tyson, Tristan, Dylan, Molly, Matthew and Cameron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 9:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Beverly Hills. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
