Jimmy I Lynde

Jimmy Irvin “J.T.” Lynde, age 63 passed away on January 2, 2015 in Lecanto, FL. Jim retired in 2003 and moved to Beverly Hills, FL after living in South Bend, IN for 26 years. Jim was born on June 20, 1951 in Sedalia, MO to Irene and Irvin Lynde of Leeton, MO. Jim was the youngest of four children. His brother Bob R. Lynde of Aurora, CO and his parents preceded him in death. Jim is survived by a sister, Judy Baker of Lecanto, FL and brother, Billy Lynde of Leeton, MO, 3 nieces, Kimberly Snyder, El Sobrante, CA, Kelley Nowlan of Aurora, CO and Kristin Baker of Boulder, CO and 3 nephews, Kent Lynde of Mason, OH, William Lynde of Lincoln, MO, and Robert Lynde of Leeton, MO in addition to many relatives. Jim moved from Missouri to Indiana in 1972. He worked for a transportation company, delivering various types of vehicles throughout the United States. He and a friend later started a trucking company which delivered various commodities nationwide. After selling the company, Jim enjoyed remodeling houses and purchasing automobiles at auctions for resale. Jim enjoyed many hobbies, including collecting automobiles, attending car shows, remodeling houses and enjoyed the challenge of repairing things for friends and family, golfing and spending time with his many dear friends, boating, more golf and assisting his sister Judy with many projects. He was a member of Seven Rivers Golf and County Club and Crystal River Moose Lodge. He was Baptist by faith. Services will be held at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 10:00 AM. with Hospice Chaplain Boris Posso officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Citrus County or any favorite charity. An additional service will be held later at Windsor, MO and interment will follow at Mineral Creek Cemetery in Leeton, MO.
