Dorothy M Davidson

DOROTHY MARIE DAVIDSON, age 86, Hernando, died January 2, 2015 under the care of Hospice of Citrus County. Dottie was born on July 5, 1928 in Stockton, IL to the late Andrew and Martha (Jacobson) DeSmidt. She was employed by K-Mart as a store clerk and secretary and also worked for ReMax Realty. After her retirement she had a delivery service to the Tampa Airport and was able to continue that venue for 14 years. Dottie was a member of First United Methodist Church and was active in the First United Methodist Church Women’s Club. She also attended Hernando Church of the Nazarene and was a member of the choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvid Davidson. She leaves behind good friends Howard and Gail Storr, Vic and Peggy McDonald and Patricia O’Block who will cherish her memory. A Funeral Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory. Friends are invited to the visitation from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. Inurnment will take place privately at Fero Memorial Gardens at a later date. Memorial donations are requested in Dottie’s name to Hospice of Citrus County, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464 in lieu of flowers.
