Robert D. “Bob” Binney, 80, Inverness, died Dec 31, 2014 in Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Bob was born Sept 16, 1934 in Hart, Michigan to the late Harry and Hilda (Luttrull) Binney and came to Citrus County over 50 years ago. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and was of the Protestant Faith.
Survivors include 6 children, Steven Binney, Homosassa; Richard Binney, Inverness; Pamela Desorbes, Lakeland; Dawn Binney, Inverness; Dianne Triano, Inverness; Linda Binney, Lakeland; 1 brother, Kenneth of Mt Clements, MI and his sister, Carol Davis of Inverness; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grand children. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Binney on Nov 25, 2012
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Friday, Jan 9th at 3:00 PM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home. Family and friends will officiate. Mr. Binney’s urn will be taken to Michigan. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home of Inverness is assisting the family.
