Alfred D. Benedetti, 79, of Hernando, FL passed away December 23, 2014 at HPH Hospice in Lecanto. He was born on March 30, 1935 in East Boston, MA to the late Alfrino and Philomena (Minichino) Benedetti. Alfred was a U.S. Army veteran and arrived in this area in 1997, coming from Malden, MA. He attended St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Lecanto, and volunteered at the Ted Williams Museum, as well as called bingo at Barrington Place Nursing Facility. Alfred loved living and enjoyed his retirement. He was preceded in death by his brother, Orlando Benedetti. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Anna Benedetti of Hernando; his sister, Theresa Ellard of Winthrop, MA.; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Alfred’s Life will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2014, 1:00 P.M. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL, with an honor guard service following.
