Marian P Jordan

Marian P. Jordan, 76, Inverness, went home to the Lord on Dec 11, 2014 at Citrus Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. Mrs Jordan was born on April 14, 1938 in Cayce, South Carolina to the late Charlton and Bertha (Spires) Price and came to Citrus Co. in 1977 from Bradenton, FL. Marian was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, always taking care of the household in order for her family to pursue their interests and careers. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, entertaining, and fishing, always catching the largest fish in her group. Marian was the recipient of a kidney transplant in 2004 and was blessed with many additional years.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Marvin (Ken) Jordan, Inverness; 2 daughters, Pamela Reneau Line and husband Mark of Spartanburg, SC and Janet Michelle Rashley and husband Jim of Inverness, FL; 2 sisters, Muriel Price Floyd and Louise Price Smith, both of Gilbert, SC; 4 Grandchildren, Alyse Worley and husband, Mitch; Samuel Line, Benjamin Rashley, and Lauryn Rashley.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Dec. 14th at 2:00 PM from Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Seagle officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.. Additional services and burial will follow in Columbia, SC under the care of Shives Funeral Home.
