MELVIN T. (T. Bone) RICHARDSON, age 86, Citrus Springs, passed away November 20, 2014 under the loving care of Hospice of Citrus County , the staff of Arbor Trail Health and Rehab, with his wife Catherine at his bedside. Melvin was born on March 20, 1928 in Big Rapids, MI to the late Fredrick F. and Edna B. (Tribe) Richardson. T. Bone and his wife Catherine have been residents of Citrus County for 16 years. Melvin and Catherine lived previously in Michigan, relocating to Florida. He loved his family and they loved him. He spent most of his life hunting and fishing with his family and many friends. He enjoyed life to the fullest, never said he couldn’t do it. His tenacity and love of life won him a lifetime of friends. He was the builder and owner of the Riverside Bar in Leota, MI, where he kept law and order. He was last employed as a general superintendent of a pipeline. T-Bone and his Friday night fish fries will be missed by many. He has gone to the happy hunting grounds above. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years, Catherine Richardson; sons Edward, Marvin, Alvin and Deane Richardson; daughters Vietta McCarthy, Jean Colter and Janet Shakes, all of Michigan; stepdaughters Christine Engler and Laura O’Laughlin, including their spouses, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as a brother Carl Richardson of Las Vegas, NV. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private arrangements.
