Roy W Fluegel

ROY WILBERT FLUEGEL, age 93, Hernando, died November 6, 2014 with his beloved wife at his bedside at his residence. Roy was born on September 11, 1921 in Perry County, MO to the late Arthur F. and Dorothea (Thomas) Fluegel. He served our country as a United States Navy pilot with 22 years of service, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander. Roy then was employed by United Services Life as a sales representative. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 70 years, Jean Fluegel; his son Terry J. and his wife Lori Fluegel, Festus, MO; daughter-in-law June Fluegel, Inverness; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his sons Gary A. Fluegel and R. Keith Fluegel, his sister Lilly Fluegel, one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Graveside committal with military honors will take place on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 2:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Friends may join the funeral procession at 1:15 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory.
