Joan S. Zampelli, 77, of Beverly Hills, Florida passed away October 25, 2014 under the care of Hospice of Citrus County, Lecanto, Florida. She was born on October 26, 1936 in Waterbury, CT to the late John and Margaret (Holian) Kilmer. Joan was a homemaker, and arrived in this area in 1989, coming from Wolcott, CT. She was a Christian by faith, and enjoyed reading her Bible, word puzzles, reading, and baking. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Arthur O. Zampelli. Other survivors include her children Theresa Zampelli of Torrington, CT, Julie (Raymond) Tufts of Southington, CT, Vicki (Merrill) Leach of El Paso, TX, and Arthur (Susy) Zampelli, Jr., of Waterbury, CT; sister Patricia Christolini; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
