MARIA L. VALDERRAMA, age 79, Miramar, died October 17, 2014 at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center in Crystal River with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. Maria was born in Cuba on August 25, 1935 to the late Manuel and Pilar (Vasquez) Fernandez. She was an executive secretary for Sea Land, an insurance company for shipping containers. She volunteered for the homeless, bringing them much needed supplies such as food, clothing and blankets. Maria loved her pets, her bunny “Pelusa” and her cat “Melosa.” She was especially devoted to her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 25 years, Cesar Y. Valderrama; her daughters Annette and her husband David Bink, Dunnellon and Virginia and her husband Ed Barrett, Charlotte, NC; grandchildren Kameron, Olivia, Dylan and Sean. Private arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory.
