WILLIAM JAMES GUNN, age 55, went to be with his Lord on September 26, 2014. William was born September 12, 1959 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Artis Gunn, Sr. and Geneva (Moore) Gunn Savage. He served our country in the United States Army. William was a gifted music writer and composer, playing the guitar and performing in the Brevard Theater and the performing arts community. He dearly loved the Lord and his ministry was performing for the residents of many local nursing homes. He worked at the Washington Square Convelesant Home in Titusville, FL and the Key Training Center in Lecanto. He was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. Left to cherish his memory is his soul mate Shirley Bohn, brother Artis Gunn, Jr. (Cheri), Titusville, FL; sisters Janice (David) Warren, Crystal River, FL and Elizabeth (Calvin) Canada, Mims, FL; stepmother JoAnn Gunn; and stepsiblings Roland Benoit, Lee B. Johnson, Annette (Alan) Scott-Watson, Lynne Mularkey, Lori-Jean Nenson, his aunt Clematis Clark, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. A celebration of William\\\’s life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 2:30 PM, at the Way of Life Baptist Church, 1571 N. Singleton Ave., Titusville, FL 32796. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
