Eleanor Hopkins, Inverness, FL died at home on Sept 5, 2014 at her residence. Mrs Hopkins was born in Jersey City, NJ on Sept 16, 1923 to the late Louis and Ella (Specht) Erckert and moved to Florida in 1992 from New Jersey. She was employed by the Avon Cosmetics Company as an administrator and was of the Lutheran Faith.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Denise Dawson of Bradenton, FL and Richard Erckert of Huntington, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Jan 19, 2007 and two brothers and one sister, Louis and Edward Erckert and Ruth Mason.
Graveside services will be on Thursday, Sept 18th at 2:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery with Pastor Tom Beaverson of the First Lutheran Church officiating. The procession will leave the Chas E Davis Funeral Home at 1:15pm for the graveside service.
