Edna M Locke

EDNA MAE LOCKE, age 79, Inverness, died August 22, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A native of Inverness, Edna was born on May 26, 1935 to the late Leonard and Maybelle (Kinsey) Tomberlin. Edna worked in the Lecanto Middle School Library as an aide for many years, enjoying her job and the children she came into contact with. She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of animals. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 63 years, Dale C. Locke, Inverness; daughters Diane Bywater and Kathy Locke, both of Inverness; granddaughters Kathryn “Katie” Bywater and Emily Locke. She was preceded in death by her son Dale C. Locke, Jr. A tribute and celebration of Edna’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will greet friends in visitation from 4-6 PM on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Please consider donations in Edna’s memory to Hospice of Citrus County, P.O.
