GEORGE W. SCHLOENDORN, SR., age 97, Floral City, died August 14, 2013 under the care of HPH Hospice and his loving family. George was born on March 1, 1916 in Atlantic City, NJ to the late George W. and Marion (Timmie) Schloendorn. He served our country in the United States Army during WWII. He enjoyed fishing, a good game of poker and playing the lotto. Left to cherish his memory is his son George W. Schloendorn, Jr. and his wife Janet, 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Susan Schloendorn, his son John and daughter Sue Neff.
