Medford B Bennett

MEDFORD BENNETT, age 71, Homosassa, died August 4, 2014 at his residence. A native Floridian, Medford was born in Tarpon Springs, FL on March 7, 1943, the son of the late Willis B. and Levan (Lane) Bennett. He served our country proudly in the United States Air Force, reaching the rank of Sgt., and was the former owner of Bennet’s Landscaping. Medford enjoyed riding his motorcycle, collecting John Deere tractors and liked to take exploring driving trips around Florida. He spent many hours volunteering his services at the Crystal River Archeological State Park. Left to cherish his memory is his son Cory Bennett and his fiancee Amanda of Lecanto; daughter Christy Spivey, Inverness; brother Clinton Bennett, Crystal River and sisters Jean and Eva; four grandchildren, Christopher, William, Zachary and Mason. A celebration of life memorial service will be announced at a later date. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private arrangements.
