Stanford A Solovich

STANFORD ALAN SOLOVICH, age 75, Lecanto, died July 31, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Stan was born on December 1, 1938, the son of the late Charles and Frances (Segal) Solovich. He was employed as the sales manager for WYKE TV and FM. Stan was very active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Citrus County, was a Rotarian and worked for the Chronicle for a number of years. He was an avid sports fan for any of the Detroit teams as well as the Gators. He was a loving husband to his wife of 21 years, Christine; a very proud father of four daughters, Jill (Michael) McDonald, Detroit, MI, Kelly (Mickey) Lopez, Miami, FL, Amanda Solovich, Detroit, MI and Cassie (Jeff) Poole, Newport Beach, CA; his brother David Solovich, Columbia, SC and grandchildren Kailey, Eli, Justin, Logan and Madison. A celebration and tribute to Stan’s life will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory. The family will greet friends in visitation from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. Please consider donations to the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Citrus County in Stan’s memory in lieu of flowers.
