Clifford D. Holland, 92, Inverness died June 15, 2014 at home. A native of St. Catharines Ontario, Canada, he was born Oct 22, 1921 to the late John and Mabel (Constable) Holland. He attended local schools and Queens University (Engineering 43) in Kingston, Ontario and married his college sweetheart, Harriet Martin in 1946. She died in 1987 following 41 years of marriage. He resided in Thorold, Ontario until 1953, then relocated to Utica, NY, becoming a U. S. Citizen in 1959. He was an agent for the Equitable Assurance Co. and active in estate planning. He served as President and Director of the Life Underwriters Association and co-founded the Estate Planning Council of Mohawk Valley. Other affiliations include Inverness Country Club, Seven Oaks Golf Club, and Thousand Island Club.

He is survived by his daughter, Doran Doss, Inverness; four brothers, Donald of Toronto; Robert of St Catharines, Ontario; James and Howard, both of Thorold Canada; his sisters, Margaret Thieson of Thorold and Mabel Primeau of Oakville; 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his second wife, Marie Beatty Holland in 2000, his daughter, Diane, a brother John, and sister, Betty Smallman.
