Carl V Cervi

Carl Victor Cervi, 87, Inverness died May 31, 2014 in the Hospice House in Lecanto (Hospice of Citrus County). Mr Cervi was born in Isola del Giglio, Italy on Sept 14, 1926 to the late Luigi and Selyka Cervi and moved here 40 years ago from West Milford, New Jersey. He was employed by Florida Power Corp as a Machinest-Mechanic and was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish. Carl enjoyed gardening, bird watching, fishing, watching International soccer, and most of all, spending time with his family

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Emmanuelita “Lee” Cervi, Inverness; one son, Darren Victor Cervi, Ocala; three daughters, Victoria Lofton and husband, Michael, Linda and Lorie Martin, all of Inverness; his sister, Stella Cervi of Italy; a grandchild, Litamarie Victoria Stanton and her husband, Joe; two great-grandchildren, Sophia Victoria Downey and Joseph Michael Stanton.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday, June 6th, 11:00 AM from Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Fr. James Johnson, celebrant. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery at a later date. Friends may visit the family Friday from 9:00 – 10:30 at the Chas E Davis Funeral Home prior to the procession leaving for church. Memorials in Carl’s memory are being received by Hospice of Citrus Co, PO Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464
