Patricia E Panek

PATRICIA ELAINE PANEK, born December 30, 1938 in Somerville, NJ, daughter of Stanley J. Zawistowski and Mary Piatak passed away on May 27, 2014 of long term medical problems. Pat had many interests. She was employed for many years as an Administrative Assistant. Her hobbies included gardening, flea markets, decorating her home, and she was an avid reader. Pat’s particular interest was in geneaology whereas she researched both her parents and her husband’s parents to the late 1600’s. Pat continued her family research until her passing. Pat and her husband James resided in Whitehouse Station, NJ for 38 years before retiring to Inverness, FL in 2005. Pat and Jim were married 55-1/2 years. She is survived by sons James and Jeffery; four granddaughters, Elizabeth, Lauren, Samantha and Brittney; one grandson Zachary and three great-grandchildren, in addition, her pet parrots, Gabby and Webster. At her request, funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to either Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Inverness or your local Humane Society.
