Randall D Winsted

RANDALL DALE WINSTED, age 57, Floral City, died unexpectedly on May 18, 2014. Randy was born on June 15, 1956 in Hamilton, OH to the late David F. and Ellen (Horn) Winsted. He was the owner/operator of Winsted Flooring and worked as a floor installer his entire life. He served our country in the United States Marine Corp. Randy was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, boating, shooting and playing with his dogs. His great love was restoring and driving his ’79 Corvette. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he will be missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 30 years, Wendy Winsted and his son Jade (Ellen) Perry, Dunnellon, FL. One of 18 siblings, he was preceded in death by brothers Doug, Phil and Glen Tipton and Keith Winsted and sisters Margaret Owens and Shirley Delver. Other survivors are brothers David Winsted and Ricky Winsted, both of Hamilton, OH, Gary Winsted, College Corner, OH, Kenneth Winsted, Ross, OH, Carl Winsted, Hamilton, OH; sisters Ora Lee Garrett, Hamilton, OH, Loretta (Bill) Rogers, Eaton, OH, Carolyn (Douglas) Scrivner, Hamilton, OH, Brenda (Dan) Works, Ross, OH, Linda (Mike) Callihan, Hamilton, OH and Wanda Charleville, Hamilton, OH and three grandchildren, Shelby, Michael and Annabelle Perry. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private arrangements.
