Herbert E. Castell

HERBERT E. CASTELL, age 72, Lecanto, died May 6, 2014 at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Herbert was born on December 25, 1941 in Worcester, MA to the late Ernest and Laura (Young) Castell. He served our country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Herbert was a machinist for Norton (now St. Gobain) in Worcester for over 36 years. He enjoyed being active with dancing, golfing and fishing and in later years began collecting coins. Everyone who knew him will miss his wonderful smile. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 25 years, Lorraine Castell; his children Ronald Bullens, Patricia Setterlund, Leslie Castell, Christopher Castell, all of Worcester, MA and Cynthia (Castell) Kane, Whitinsville, MA; his brother Donald Castell, Worcester; a niece Vera; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer, Abraham, Ashley, Matthew, Joshua, Aaron, Chelsea, Bradley, Aiden and Topher and 2 great-grandchildren Anthony and Alivia. A tribute and celebration of Herbert’s life with military honors will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory.
