ROBERT C. CLARK, Sr. “Capt. Bobby”, age 82, died February 28, 2014 at Arbor Trail Rehab and Nursing Center. A native of Ohio, Capt. Bobby was born on May 1, 1931 to the late James V. and Louise (Shropshire) Clark. He located to this area in 1981 from Pinellas County. An intrepid entrepreneur, he owned and operated Capt. Bobby’s Seafood, B&W Rexall Restaurant, Bobby Clark’s Auto Sales and Bobby Clark’s R.V. Sales in Inverness and Cleveland, GA and was a commercial yacht captain. He was a member of race car drivers associations SCCA, IMSA and IMCA, the Christian Motorcycle Club and an active member of Egypt Shrine Temple, Citrus Shrine Club, Shriner’s Clowns as well as Sertoma. Left to cherish his memory are his sons Robert Clark, Jr. and his wife Cheri, Beverly Hills; Rocky Clark, Orlando; daughters Sandy Santinelli, Brandon and Cindy Orange, Jacksonville, 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He will be dearly missed by many friends and acquaintances. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private arrangements.
