JAN MARIE KING, age 61, Tampa and formerly of Inverness died February 16, 2014 at her residence. Jan was born on September 4, 1952 in Columbus, OH to the late Harry E. and Roberta (Caskey) Roederer. She was a team leader and supervisor for Computer Generated Solutions. She enjoyed fishing, doing crafts such as macrame and shopping, especially for items for her elephant collection. Left to cherish her memory are her children Jason Thompson and his companion Lisa Cunningham, Tampa; Cynthia and her husband Keith Perez, Ruskin, FL; grandchildren Ryan and Nathan Thompson and Andrew and Alyssa Perez; her former spouse Gary Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward S. King and a sister, Diane Severino. The family invites friends to join them for a graveside committal service on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery. If friends so desire, they may meet at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home in Inverness at 1:15 PM to form the procession to the cemetery.
