Susan M Young

Susan Myrtle Young, 71, of Lecanto, Florida passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014 under the care of HPH Hospice in Lecanto. She was born on April 2, 1942 in Concord, New Hampshire to the late Chester Davis and Rena Hazel (Downs) Evans. Susan was a cashier for Albertson’s Supermarket and arrived in the area in 2010, coming from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was a bowling league member for years, and enjoyed puzzles, reading, fishing, and watching western movies and baseball. She is preceded in death by her brother Robert and sister Gloria. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Richard Young. Other survivors include her daughter, Deborah (William, Jr.) Barker of Inverness, Florida; brother David Evans of Naples, Florida; sisters Shirley (Charlie) Twitchell of Belleview, Nebraska and Linda (Fred) Weiler of of Mountain Home, Idaho; two grandchildren, Kelly (Vinny) Lanzarone of Inverness, and Daniel (Kate) Palazzolo of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and four great-grandchildren: Lincoln, Claire, Livianna, and Hannah. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
