Birgitta Walsh, 75 of Hernando, Florida passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at her residence surronded by her loving family. She was born in Eskilstuna, Sweden on September 29, 1938 to the late Einar and Edit Ingeborg (Johansson) Thorsson. Birgitta arrived in this area in 2009 from New Zealand, was a dedicated homemaker to her family, and enjoyed traveling and playing bridge. Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, Chester Walsh. Other survivors include her daughters, Christina (Terry) Brooks of Suwanee, Georgia, Suzanne Walsh and Elizabeth Fowler, both of San Diego, California, and Maria (Ted) Jump of Kingston, Pennsylvania; brother Ulf Thorsson, 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Private arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, Florida.
