Peggy U Taylor

MARGARET “PEGGY” U. TAYLOR, age 83, Inverness, died December 2, 2013 surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice of Citrus County. Peggy was born on May 26, 1930 in Carnegie, PA to the late Edward and Margaret (Walters) Unger. She was a training analyst for General Telephone Company (now Verizon). Peggy was a volunteer at Citrus Memorial Hospital for over 16 years. She was a member of the American Business Women’s Association and Telephone Pioneers. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Inverness. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Arlyce (A.J.) Taylor-Vendur and Lynne Pfeifer both of Inverness; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Taylor on February 8, 2013. A celebration of life tribute service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 12:30 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home.
