Barbara A Schoppman

BARBARA ANN SCHOPPMAN, age 78, Inverness, died October 22, 2013 at Florida Hospital in Land O’ Lakes. Barbara was born on January 17, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY to the late William and Pauline (Moore) Sietas. Barbara enjoyed her work as a housekeeper at Surrey Place. She was a parishioner at Our Lady of Fatima and active in many ministries there. Barbara was a beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 61 years, William A. Schoppman; sons William T. (Mary Jane) Schoppman, Ocala, FL and Gregg M. (Elizabeth) Schoppman, Land O’ Lakes, FL; daughters Donna Steiger and Patti (Albert) Morfesi, both of West Babylon, NY; four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Von Dollen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. The family will receive friends in visitation from 9:00 AM until the procession forms to the church. Memorial donations in Barbara’s memory are requested to Helping Hands Thrift Shop and Food Pantry at Our Lady of Fatima in lieu of flowers. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
