Lois F York

Lois F.York, 81, of Inverness, Florida passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 under the care of Life Care Center, Lecanto, Florida. She was born on September 5, 1932 in Liberty, Kentucky and arrived in this area in the early 1970’s, coming from Kentucky. She was the owner of Lois’s Beauty Salon in Inverness for fifty years. Lois enjoyed playing cards and going to casinos, golfing, and was a big Florida Gators fan. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Donna Hope and Theresa Wiley, and grandchild Jessie Wiley. She is survived by five grandchildren, Ryan Glaze, Amanda Wiley, Lee Ann Hope, Mathew Davis, and Stephanie Swain; and seven great-grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
