Doris A Raver

Doris Ann Raver, 79, of Homosassa, Florida passed away under the care of Hospice of Citrus County in Lecanto on Tuesday, October 15, 2013. She was born in Happy Hollow, Ohio on February 15, 1934 to the late Elza N. and Evelyn M. (Ossman) Miller. Doris was a dedicated homemaker, and arrived in this area in 1991, coming from Groveport, Ohio. She was a Protestant, and loved singing with the Sweet Adelines Chorus. She also enjoyed boating, the outdoors, and spending time with family, especially during the holidays. Doris is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Paul E. Raver, Jr. Other survivors include four daughters, Deanna Bowling of Beverly Hills, Fl, Jan (Jim) Puchan of Galena, OH, Sue Vaughn of Homosassa, and Michelle Morris of Homosassa; one step-son, Paul E. (Cynthia) Raver III of Belpre, OH; two step-daughters, Angela Vohsing and Cynthia Raver, both of Groveport, OH; one sister, Marilyn (Dan) Hitchings of Louisville, KY; fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Doris’s name to Hospice of Citrus County, PO Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas.E.
